The whirlwind that is the life of Amanda Overmyer took a brief pause this week.
The popular, former "American Idol" contestant got the rare chance to spend some time at her home in Mulberry Tuesday night and Wednesday.

So far she has appeared on "The Today Show," "Live with Regis and Kelly," Canadian music channel Fuse TV, "Access Hollywood" and other shows in Los Angeles and New York since the elimination. She was taped on "The Ellen DeGeneres" Show March 20, and that will air at 11 a.m. Friday on NBC.
