Brooke White Sings Every Breath You Take and It's Just OkayAmerican Idol Top 10

It's unclear if theAmerican Idol directive for the Top 10 night was to sing a song from your birth year, or to sing a lullaby from your birth year and put everyone to sleep. Talented musician and songstress Brooke White had a mixed performance tonight. But even her mixed performance outshone many other American Idol contestants.
Born in 1983
Young Brooke White was born in 1983 and she chose to sing "Every Breath You Take" by The Police. This was an interesting song choice given the fact that Brooke White could probably also have handled other 1983 hit songs including "Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This)" by the Eurythmics, "Do You Really Want To Hurt Me" by Culture Club or "True" by Spandau Ballet.
Stumbled Words on American Idol Top 10
When she first began singing, looking down, and a Capella, Brooke was not happy with the first couple of words that came out of her mouth. She immediately, without looking up, or acknowledging it in any way, started over.
The beginning of the song was pleasant, and Brooke White showed her piano playing and mad singing skills. Brooke White, as one of the American Idol top 10, is one of the few that shows true effortless vocals.
Part way through the song, the band came in, and Brooke's performance went down a notch on tonight's American Idol.
Up to this point in the show, the entire stage was lifeless. The American Idol contestants were choosing slow songs, and not giving much effort. Brooke White at least brought life to the stage.
it is also impossible to deny the natural talent this American Idol contestant has. She is also just so sweet, how could anyone not want her to continue?
Although this was not her strongest American Idol performance to date, Brooke White is weeks away from going home.
